UkiyoVans was born from a shared dream; to create homes that move with you. After years of living in vans, cars and tiny homes, we imagined spaces that carried the warmth of a real home, the precision of true craftsmanship and the beauty of thoughtful design. Spaces that invite calm, connection and freedom.

From that vision, UkiyoVans took shape - handcrafted, off-grid-ready homes on wheels built with natural materials, timeless design and great attention to detail. Every line, texture, and finish is chosen with intention, creating vans that feel peaceful, grounded and alive.

Each UkiyoVans is built with love, care and respect for slow living. For us, it’s not just about building vans - it’s about creating spaces that remind you that home can be anywhere.

Meet the founders of UkiyoVans

  • Hi, I’m Omar - a Spanish carpenter with many years of experience building everything from tiny houses, luxury homes, campervans and even a boat. I love working with wood and natural materials and I’m always looking for creative solutions to make every space both functional and beautiful.

    Many years ago, I converted a car and lived in it for years around Spain. That time taught me how to design small spaces that are practical, comfortable and full of freedom. Later, I backpacked across Europe to explore new cultures and draw inspiration from the handcrafted simplicity of Scandinavian design.

    Now, through UkiyoVans, I create homes on four wheels - crafted with precision, intention and a deep respect for quality.

  • Hi, I’m Røskva - a Scandinavian girl from Copenhagen who once worked as a lawyer at a top-ranked law firm before deciding to trade the office for a backpack and a freer way of living.

    I’ve always been drawn to design and love creating calm, minimalistic spaces that feel warm and peaceful. Over the past four years, I’ve lived all around the world - from tiny homes and boutique hotels in Central America & Indonesia to full-time car & van life in Spain. No matter where I’ve been, one thing has stayed the same: I’ve always lived in small spaces that connect me to nature.

    Nature is what grounds me - the sun, the ocean and the forest - and it’s what inspires every design decision I make for UkiyoVans. I hope you can feel that calmness in each of our van interiors.

    Fun fact: You’ll usually find me with a skateboard, surfboard or watching the sunset!
